When it comes to decorative vertical surfaces, we're no longer just talking about "painting a wall," but about dressing it with materials that add depth, rhythm, and functionality. Among the most versatile solutions are SPC (Stone Plastic Composite) panels for wall use: thin, stable, moisture-resistant sheets, available in a myriad of graphic effects. Light Nordic woods, warm oak, dark woods, black and white marble, concrete, and metal oxidation: high-definition printing and embossed surfaces allow for highly dramatic walls with a slim profile.

Alongside SPC panels, we also find wood or wood-effect strips and slats , mounted on walls to create modern paneling, vertical partitions, and TV backdrops, headboards, or living areas. Depending on the material, they can be made of real solid wood, veneered on a backing, or composite. The strength of these systems lies in the interplay of shadows and solids/empty spaces created between one strip and the next, especially when combined with carefully designed lighting.

Another family of products is decorative sound-absorbing panels , often consisting of an acoustic core covered with textile, wood, or technical finishes. In highly reverberant environments—open spaces, offices, living rooms with high ceilings—these elements improve acoustic comfort, reducing reverberations and annoying noises, while also defining a specific aesthetic.

There are also 3D coverings and decorative modules in composite materials, processed MDF, special plaster, or technical polyurethane. These panels create relief patterns: waves, geometric shapes, stripes, and more or less pronounced textures. Painted to match the wall or in a contrasting color, they completely change the perception of a room, especially in grazing light.

The choice of material depends on several factors: the intended use of the space , exposure to impacts and dirt, the presence of humidity, available budget, and the desired style. In areas such as entryways, hallways, and stairways, where walls are more subject to abrasion, more durable and easily washable materials (SPC, technical panels) offer tangible advantages. In relaxation areas, bedrooms, and living rooms, wood and decorative fabrics add warmth and comfort.

A final aspect is compatibility with existing systems : many solutions allow for the integration of sockets, light points, LED strips, TVs, and hidden wiring behind the panels. This way, the decorative wall isn't just a visually appealing backdrop, but becomes a truly functional element that organizes technology and lighting.

Highlight

• Wide choice of materials: SPC, wooden strips, acoustic panels, 3D cladding and decorative modules.
• Possibility of obtaining scenographic walls with limited thicknesses and minimally invasive interventions.
• Many surfaces are washable and resistant, ideal for high traffic areas or heavily used environments.
• Integration with systems and lighting allows you to combine aesthetics and functionality.

Low Light

• Not all materials are suitable for humid environments or direct contact with water, each case must be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
• Highly distinctive solutions require attention in the design so as not to tire in the medium term.
• Low-quality, cheap coatings may look unrealistic or deteriorate quickly.
