CUSTOM BREATH

We shape technical elements into design details: from 3D to prototyping, right through to aluminum fabrication, painting, and assembly. In this project, custom air vents with personalized shapes and finishes are designed to blend seamlessly into any space.
The Project
Custom Breath was born from a specific request from an international client : in his villa, he wanted to replace the traditional air conditioning vents with a cleaner, more elegant element, truly integrated into the architecture. Not just a technical accessory with the classic grille motif, but a design detail capable of elevating the space.
We started as we do with custom projects: listening, proportions, and the house's lines. Once we presented the first drawing, the client immediately approved the layout. From there, we developed the 3D model and created a 3D-printed prototype , useful for experiencing the actual volumes and dimensions firsthand. The physical sketch clarified everything: dimensions, perception, and presence on the wall. The feedback was immediate and enthusiastic.
Once the design was chosen, we moved on to the materials. Among iron, alloys, and other solutions, the final choice fell on aluminum : lightweight, stable, corrosion-resistant, workable with great precision, and perfect for achieving a uniform and durable paint finish. The visible part was laser-cut to ensure a clean design, and then welded the wall/ceiling anchoring structure onto the back.
Each vent had its own measurements, so the graphics and cuts were handled individually. Additionally, some outlet vents were installed on curved walls . We therefore replicated the wall's curvature angle, created a dedicated mounting pattern, and welded the face onto the curved structure, maintaining continuity and precision.
After assembly, the part that really makes the difference began: the finishing. Every edge was chamfered , every joint cleaned, the surfaces milled and sanded until they achieved a uniform coat, ready for flawless paint. The painting was carried out using a specific aluminum cycle (anchoring and finishing) to ensure adhesion, durability, and a full, elegant appearance, designed to last over time.
Once dry, the vents were packaged with reinforced protection: corner pieces, spacers, internal fixings, and packaging designed to safely handle international shipping . Once they arrived at the construction site, we assembled them with precision and then integrated them into the decorative workmanship of the walls and ceilings, so that the technical part disappeared… leaving only the mark of the design.
The result is what we wanted from the beginning: air that passes, beauty that remains .
