SOFT GEOMETRY

4

Custom-built villa: seamless resin over the tiles, glossy Venetian stucco, and pink and white geometric patterns running through the living room and kitchen. Integrated LEDs and matching veneer complete a tailored, bright, and unique interior.

The Project

Soft Geometry is a small villa sewn like a haute couture piece: shiny and matte materials, subtle geometric shapes, and color accents that flow seamlessly from one space to the next, never random. Every choice was born from a dialogue with the client and from on-site sampling, because here, the difference isn't just in the color, but in the way the light reflects it.

On the first floor, we unified the living room, kitchen, and bathroom with a resin floor installed over the existing tiles: a minimally invasive yet impactful solution. Preparation, primer, and finish created a seamless, contemporary surface that's easy to live with and enhances the brightness of the spaces.

In the living room, high-gloss white Venetian stucco contrasts with pink geometric patterns: on the column and the opposite wall, the colors are inverted, creating an interplay of solids and voids that shifts perspective as you move around. In the living room, the bio-fireplace adds a warm, dramatic touch, while the wooden table and staircase have been updated. We refined and protected the steps for a uniform, long-lasting result.

In the kitchen, the stucco backdrop with an abstract design was enhanced with mica flakes , creating precious micro-reflections without being overbearing. The same luminous note recurs along the staircase, like a signature that guides the gaze toward the sleeping area. The kitchen was completed with glossy white veneer , cabinet assembly performed by us, and a partial false ceiling with an integrated LED strip : a continuous, technical light, perfect for illuminating the hob and keeping the space tidy.

In the bathroom, a striped lime relief, finished in mother-of-pearl , transforms the walls into a precious and luminous element: the texture captures the light and reflects it softly, making the room appear larger and more refined, like a small “jewel” room within the house.

Upstairs in the bedroom, the multi-layered plasterboard headboard combines a travertine texture with a fabric-effect film (woven threads) that matches the wardrobe, complemented by an abstract Venetian plaster accent. The wardrobe, the main and historic piece, was covered with the fabric-effect film, giving it a modern twist: the same memory, but a new, elegant presence that seamlessly integrates into the design.
