STONE HARMONY

2g

A project where stone becomes the common thread: high reliefs, textured walls, and hidden lighting delicately shape the spaces. Travertine recurs in the details and accompanies the home all the way to the sleeping area, where the stone headboard with integrated lamps creates a warm and enveloping atmosphere.

The Project

Stone Harmony was born from an essential idea: a uniform polished stone.

With samples and in-house tests, we proposed a richer version to the client, featuring micro-shades and textured vibrations. It was love at first sight: from there, the project took shape, tailored to each space, with a consistent balance between material, light, and proportions.

The living area (living room and kitchen) features warm brown tones interspersed with luminous whites: a complex, layered finish that changes with the light and interacts with the hidden light fixtures. As the project progressed, the high relief on the staircase was also created, designed to complement its movement and lend rhythm to the walls. The light grain patterns are not random: they were designed by hand to reflect the client's preferences and achieve a result that truly reflects her.

To integrate every detail, we also clad the radiator/fan coil covers in stone: the existing MDF supports were prepared and treated for cladding, achieving continuity without any visible technical elements. To complete the groundwork, all the ceilings were painted white and the other undecorated walls were uniformed to match the different rooms, allowing the stone to take center stage.

In the master bedroom, the material changes: the same workmanship is reinterpreted in a more peachy hue, chosen to complement the existing furnishings and create a softer atmosphere. Here, the stone becomes a dramatic headboard and accommodates the integrated lamps, which are also coordinated and "embedded" in the material design, as if they were born together with the wall. During the same project, we also restored and restored the air conditioning vents in the bedroom, ensuring that the plumbing and plumbing systems remained tidy, clean, and consistent.

Outside, the project concludes with the restoration of the balcony railings: sanding, rust removal, rust-proofing, and a dark brown enamel finish, in keeping with the building's architectural style.

Preparing a home is a team effort requiring precision, but decorating with materials is something else entirely. It requires time, silence, and a steady hand. Every glaze, every nuance, every grain is constructed and checked in person, until the wall "breathes" and the stone appears authentic. It's not a finish: it's a handcrafted work , designed to last and to thrill every day.
