TWIN ORBITS

Office restyling: painting, two-component resin flooring over tiles, and restoration of the archived wood. In the stairwells, textured spatula circles: yellow/silver in the first building and blue/silver in the second, a unique signature.
The Project
Twins Orbit was born from the desire to give a company's workspaces a clearer, more contemporary identity, without sacrificing functionality. We redesigned colors, surfaces, and certain distribution points with a specific goal: to create tidy, representative environments that stand up to everyday use.
The first step was the general renovation: a complete painting of the rooms and careful preparation to even out any uneven areas. Then came the flooring: previously there were tiles, but the company needed a more seamless and practical surface. We sanded and prepared the substrate, then applied a two-component resin suitable for high traffic, with a specific finish and protector. In spaces with this much traffic, we recommend maintaining the finish with wax about once a year , so the surface stays beautiful, protected, and easy to clean over time.
In the main meeting room, the theme was representation: leaving an opening to the back office would have kept the service area visible, while a traditional door would have created clutter and cut into the space. The solution was more elegant: two plasterboard walls screen the entrance and make the space appear more intimate and clean to clients.
In the archive area, we addressed technical issues: we repaired the wooden floor that was lifting, addressing the compromised areas and restoring its levelness and safety. Due to a leak, we also removed the existing wallpaper, which had deteriorated from humidity, and restored the underlying surface for a healthy, even finish.
The project's hallmark is the stairwells: textured circular decorations , applied with a spatula, like overlapping orbits. To achieve this effect, the lime is constructed in multiple steps: design, high-relief application, working on the edges and textures, then precisely adhering to drying times before painting. This is crucial: on textured products, respecting drying times is essential; speeding up the process means losing definition and stability. Once dry, we colored and protected with finishes specifically designed for high-traffic areas, so that the decoration remains beautiful even with constant traffic.
This is where the name comes from: Twins Orbit . The same graphic idea is repeated in two twin buildings, but with two different atmospheres: the first features a warm palette, with a yellow background and touches of silver that evoke energy and light; the second features a more technical and contemporary blue and silver. Continuity and distinction at the same time: two orbits, two identities, one signature.
To complete the offices, we closed off an area with a wooden paneling wall: precise installation, careful alignments and a clean, warm and tidy end result, perfectly integrated into the new language of the spaces.
