Urban Glow takes its name from the intense atmosphere of this home: deep tones, dark reflections, and dramatic lighting that defines the spaces like a set. The project encompassed the living room with kitchen, hallway, bathroom, and bedroom, starting with a fundamental foundation: a complete repainting of the walls and ceilings to restore order, visual clarity, and a chromatic continuity that enhances the decorations.

In the living room, the house speaks with its geometry: the room is not a square, but an irregular quadrilateral, with a slanted kitchen wall. Instead of forcing the lines, we followed them. This resulted in a custom kitchen table that perfectly complements the room's true proportions, transforming a constraint into character. The piece was covered in white textured resin , finished and protected with a dedicated process, to achieve an elegant, durable, and easy-to-live-with surface.

The table was conceived as an architectural element: one leg is anchored to the wall, the other is made of glass, light and almost invisible, conceived as a design solution and as additional support.

Under the table, installing RGB LEDs allows you to change the atmosphere in a few seconds: warm light for a dinner, full color for an evening with friends, more "urban" scenography when you want to emphasize the character of the home.

The decorative signature is a column clad in travertine with a gold finish : an element that would normally be cumbersome becomes a focal point, precious and contemporary. The same finish is repeated on the columns of a fake fireplace made of treated and repainted MDF, creating a second visual focal point in the living room. In the center, we installed a smoked mirror , specifically chosen to add depth and softly reflect light.

Above, a plasterboard structure houses a bio-fireplace , transforming that wall into a truly scenic backdrop.

On the wall above the sofa, we created a veil with RGB LEDs pointing towards the ceiling and spotlights that illuminate the surface, enhancing a super-glossy stucco in brown tones: a finish that captures the light and returns it vibrantly, emphasizing the volumes without weighing them down.

In the entrance hall and bathroom, paintwork and finishes have unified the passages, maintaining the same elegant language as the living room and preparing the eye for the change of atmosphere towards the sleeping area.

In the bedroom, the design becomes more intimate yet still dramatic: a minimal frame hides the light and integrates an RGB LED strip that illuminates the headboard wall. The finish is a purple mother-of-pearl applied in a crisscross pattern, designed to add movement to the wall and change intensity with the chosen lighting.

This is Urban Glow: designing light and matter together, so that every space has character... and every evening can have its own color.
