Vertigo Care is a high-altitude restoration : we bring wooden windows and shutters back to life, without disrupting the office or bringing dust into the building. The worksite is on the street, right in the city center: before starting, we took care of the necessary paperwork and permits, arranged with the local police, and established a protected pedestrian path, which is always manned.

Thanks to the use of a truck-mounted aerial platform (MEWP) , our trained operators, PPE, and checks on supports and wind speed, the work allowed us to reach places that are inaccessible from the inside. In fact, choosing a MEWP was somewhat forced for some of the windows on the facade, and it was also the most accommodating choice for customers: no entry into the rooms, no desks to move, no staff downtime. In many areas, we worked from outside , but with the same precision as an internal job.

The shutters were dismantled from the outside and taken to the workshop: thorough sanding, repairs to the damaged areas, care for the ironwork, a protective coating, and paint, restoring the original green. The historic windows on the façade, meanwhile, were restored on site: preparation, stucco, reconstructed edges, and a uniform finish, for a clean and coherent look.

Then the second stage at height: reassembly of the shutters and replacement of the shutter retainers , so each shutter is stable and secure again. Throughout the entire process, we managed the road: protective tape, signage, control of the passageways, and constant attention to pedestrians.

It's a job requiring manual skill and method: each step of the process protects the wood and restores character to the façade.
