This project stemmed from the desire to renovate the living room, kitchen, and hallway without completely altering the apartment's layout, but rather making it more contemporary, bright, and coherent. The client's goal was to create a visually cleaner and more harmonious space, with a subtle yet meticulous attention to detail. The choice of a two-tone color scheme, with white on the ceiling and RAL 9010 on the walls , immediately gave the space more breadth, while the new flooring introduced a warmer, more contemporary feel.

The work began with the necessary protection and surface preparation, then proceeded with the complete repainting of the affected areas. We then coordinated the installation of the SPC flooring over the existing flooring, avoiding demolition and instead focusing on the elements requiring adaptation: the security door, windows and doors, and passageways. At the same time, we replaced the trim and jambs with thinner profiles , also painted RAL 9010 , to lighten the design of the openings and bring them closer to the desired flush-with-the-wall effect. To complete the installation, a painted linear curtain rod was installed, designed to discreetly hide the curtain rail.

Once the project was completed, the client chose to further harmonize the overall look by also treating a piece of furniture and a wooden cornice with a lacquered finish . The end result is a more uniform, tidy, and contemporary interior, where each element interacts with balance: light surfaces, subtle details, and warm tones of the flooring create a sober yet meticulously crafted atmosphere.
